First post, I do not have any of the software to make this look clean, so I will try to make it as easy to read as possible.

Live game at a local casino (100NL, 2-3blinds) but I (Hero) have built up a stack to about 600. Button has only 60 dollars and Villain has about 400. Villain has been LAG.

----Preflop----
Villain (small blind)
Hero (UTG)
Short Stack (Button)

I get dealt A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif K /images/graemlins/diamond.gif and raise to 25. Fold all the way to button who goes all in for his remaining 60 stack. Small blind calls the 60. I reraise to 150 and get a call from Villain after a long period of thinking.

----FLOP----
J /images/graemlins/club.gif 7 /images/graemlins/club.gif 5 /images/graemlins/club.gif

Villain studies me for a good 5 minutes, and finally goes all in for his remaining 250.

The only reason this is not an autofold is because he has been LAG, and has bet with only over cards before. Of course, this may seem to be a very easy fold for most. All criticism welcome! You can call me all sorts of names.

Thats a horrible flop for your hand. I love your line preflop but I think you have to fold this hand.

1. Nice Job with the editing. I can see you worked hard on this post.
2. You'll get more and better responsed to this in the small stakes PLNL forum
3. Raise preflop is too much but if that is what everybody at the table is doing, fine.
4. If villian is a true LAG, i would move allin after the button does

[/ QUOTE ]Only problem with that is I dont want a LAG with any club calling me in this situation.

Sorry, didn't realize I was in the wrong forums heh.

The clubs were the only reason why I did not call. If the board had come only 2 suited or rainbow, I would have called after some deliberation. I ending up folding the hand because I didn't want to run into that draw.

RESULTS: He turned over A /images/graemlins/heart.gif 4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif =(. He made a great play on me. Small 60 all in took the main pot with A-J, but the side pot was larger by then. Live and learn.

He said he called the preflop because of pot odds (??) If someone can explain to me how a 270 pot where you have to put in 90 more gives you pot odds with A-4 suited, please let me know!

I still think you made the right call. A better opportunity should have come along /images/graemlins/wink.gif
