Home tourney 10K chips in play, seven handed, top three ITM. MP seems decent, SB is laggish, has a reputation for being an ass. MP just doubled up with flopped nut flush v. flopped set of queens. Haven't played much with either.

Hero 1390 chips
MP 2500 chips
SB 2500 chips

Blinds 40/80

Hero is dealt A2o in the Big Blind, two folds, MP limps, two folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop (Pot 240)

J22, two hearts

SB bets 300, Hero calls, MP calls

Turn Pot (1140)

Q of not hearts

SB checks, Hero ?

You have less than the pot. I'd just push and take the 1000 chips but I also hate making decisions on scary rivers. I'm a pansy.

I pushed as well, thinking that even with only one caller, I need to bet at least 400 to give a flush draw incorrect drawing odds. At that point, I feel like I'm calling any re-raise, so might as well push.

Now I wonder if that's weak tight, that I should take my chances with the flush draw, and try to induce a check raise from one of the 95% of hands I am way ahead of.
