Empanadas are so good.

Me=envious.

Grilled chicken on jalapeno wrap. Pasta. Diet coke.

I should probably just go kill myself now.

I still have dreams about big ass BBQs in Argentina a few years back. Kickass sausages, beef, and empanadas.

That sounds like a great lunch. I think I will have sushi for dinner.

For the ignorant, what's an empanada?

This thread is counterintuitive for me as the Mexican bakery I used to frequent only sold "sweet" stuff. The empanadas I'd buy were dessert/breakfast food, and fruit-filled.

Some sort of grilled sandwich, from Pallino. And some cake.

When I was in argentina there was this place right next to our hotel where you could get a dozen empanada's for 6 pesos. 6 argentine peso about equal to $2. Open 24 hours, perfect after bar food with your buddies. I love the food in that country. Delicious beef all the time, mmm. I love the women there more though.

If you really want a good empanada, don't eat the carmel apple ones at taco bell.

Isnt it called Julia's? I eat at the one on Vermont Ave once a week. The guy serving them up reminds me of the soup nazi.

Probably, i'm usually drunk in Adam's Morgan when I get them. Best business decision ever was to have that place still open when the bars close.

Kimchi is excellent stuff. I have had homemade kimchi at an old friends house in Seattle (he married a South Korean gal). Wash it down with huge quanities of beer.
