Instinctively, I would say yes, but ICM might prove me marginally wrong.

You are forgetting a CRUCIAL piece of information - what range of hands is this guy likely to be calling with?

Cause if it's KK+, then this push is retarded.

That's extreme, but you get the idea. Give a range of push hands so we can bust out the ICM calcs with the quickness and let you know what's up.

I believe this is actually a fold in most games.

How is it retarded to push if he'll only call with extremely premium hands? That means I'll get a fold out of him almost every time.

Wow, cause I'm the moron. I thought you pushed after another guy had already pushed, thought you were the highstakes guy. It's been a loooong night.

Depends entirely on call ranges. I threw everyone on the loose setting in SNGPT and it came out to be a clear push.

edit: A fun fact is that if they're reasonably tight (66+,ATs+,AJo+) then you get to push any two cards!

Yeah I have no idea what he was talking about, he probably meant Kx, but of course there's no reason to believe anyone has that kind of range. Most of the time you simply don't know the range and have to use a general type of range that you would expect from a random partypoker monkey. Sometimes you can make some inferrences that they will be slightly tighter or looser, but it's hard to assume the BB will call with something whacked out like K8o.

Despite that I think this is a fold anyway.
