Lee just got his 5th hit (a 3 run home-run) of the game tonight. What a season he's having.

Woah woah woah buddy. Look again. It doesn't say "every aspect that should be judged for individual performance" it says "every aspect." OBVIOUSLY i realize Lee can only affect wins so much, and [censored], the cubs are my team, but you have to admit, pujols' team has more wins. so Lee isn't have a better season in every aspect.

Funny, that seems to coincide with some sort of trade they made. Interesting. Now that we don't have a pitcher TRYING TO LOSE THE [censored] GAMES FOR US. JESUS [censored] CHRIST WHAT THE [censored] WAS WRONG WITH HIM.

All-star voting is almost entirely based on popularity. I would not be surprised at all to see Barry Bonds in the top 5 for OFs.

If Lee is still leading the Triple Crown categories in 3 weeks, he'll be talked about on Sportscenter and PTI/ATH daily so that'll probably propel him over Pujols.

Well, the all-star game is for who the fans want to see play, not who is having the best season.

Even worse is how Vince Carter leads the NBA voting every year.

There are two camps to All-Star Voting. The first camp is that all-star voting should be based on season performance thus far. If you're in that camp, Derrek Lee should be the starter - forgive the phrase - "and it's not close." With Lee's hot streak lately, he's jumped ahead of even Brian Roberts as the most valuable player in the world....

However, if you believe it should be based on some sort of past/current stats mix, Pujols has a very good case...

Well, actually, there's a third camp, and they're the most popular. They're called "[censored] morons." All-Star voting is a sham.
