He's like a demi-moderator of sorts.

Mike Haven is also green

Maybe, just MAYBE, Dynasty being green means he can moderate OOT to an extent. Or maybe some of the other forums at 2+2, I dunno...

You are Eurotrash. You don't need a green name. You just need some hair gel and spoiled meat. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I doubt he can moderate any forums.

He, Haven and one other are semi-moderators. There's a thread in WPT that explains their roles, although this is the first I've heard about Dynasty.

Well, I like it. As long as you don't go and ban ClarkNasty.

I would be interested to know the criteria regarding how you'll decide to lock a thread, ban someone, delete a thread, etc.

As would I.

Also I don't like the green because in the mode that I'm viewing things in the unread posts are highlighted in green so it conflicts with your color.

...if that makes any sense at all.

Don't know. All the other greens have been around since 2002 and I'm 2003. So it could be that. I also like to emulate Zeno and drunk post a bit (not so much anymore). But ya, you are right, I probably am too controversial. I am bit curious though.

Oh well, this is good as well and like you said less hassle for you while still reaping the benefits of hopefully less jack-assery.

I would hope they'd start with the "Terms and Conditions," particularly:
[ QUOTE ]
you may not post or transmit any unlawful, threatening, abusive, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, profane, or otherwise objectionable information of any kind; including without limitation any transmissions constituting or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any local, state, national or international laws

edit:
yes I know, Otis in this thread, is a buzz-kill. Sorry.

It's not that easy being green;
Having to spend each day the color of the leaves.
When I think it could be nicer being red, or yellow or gold...
or something much more colorful like that.

It's not easy being green.
It seems you blend in with so many other ord'nary things.
And people tend to pass you over 'cause you're
not standing out like flashy sparkles in the water
or stars in the sky.

But green's the color of Spring.
And green can be cool and friendly-like.
And green can be big like an ocean, or important like a mountain,
or tall like a tree.

When green is all there is to be
It could make you wonder why, but why wonder why?
Wonder, I am green and it'll do fine, it's beautiful!
And I think it's what I want to be.

I guess I should pipe in. After many requests and thoughts on the matter, I decided user mods are a good idea. The three I've chosen (and there will probably be more, wacki included) I know well as posters. Not only have they been around forever, these forums are clearly very important to them. And most importantly, from my perspective, I have largely agreed with them and taken action when they notified me (something which occured regularly).

I'm sure they will do much to keep things running smoothly and pleasantly for all who wish to be at least semi-productive members of this community.
