1200 more into a 2700 pot (9:4 ~ 2.25:1 odds). I think I made a terrible mistake here as I'm 30% dominated against Ax or any PP (but AA), and 60% against any non-PP. Thoughts?

this kind of situation is why you either push or fold preflop at this point.

If I somehow did get myself in this situation I would fold. You are going to be very lucky to not be dominated here.



on second thoughts, there are some situations where I would raise to 500 and fold if anyone other than the BB played back at me.

but assuming you do as I did. Knowing that you're 80-90% chance dominated still warrants a call given the pot odds, right?

Make your steal raise at this level 500 or starters.

Nay, push or fold pre-flop. Raising here is bad.

So you're saying I should be in push/fold mode when either myself or everybody else is close to 10BB (in this case 3 of them are closely above and below 10BB)?

Yeah, pretty much. Only active players need to be taken into account.
