Villain had be playing fairly tight aggressive and had not been overplaying many hands.
Probably should have bet more on the flop or turn, but now what?

The first one is tough.... That said, AK probably owns button's range, so I call.

As for the second one, hero goes all-in, easy.

In Hand 1, I'm interested in a read on UTG. What does his raise mean and how loose might the button get to resteal from him? Unless I feel strongly that his range is wider than usual, I think I'm folding this. It feels like a coin flip I don't want at this juncture in the game - if the blinds were higher I'd be more likely to call. I haven't done any math here, this is just my instincts... which are too often wrong.

In hand 2, I would raise more preflop. The odds you are offering him to call are too good. I would also make a real bet on the flop. On the river, I make a value bet and call if I'm raised.

Hand 1 I would call. These small raises UTG usually are a semi-steal with Ax hands. A mid pair generally goes all-in, whereas a high pair (QQ, KK, AA) would usually just call. As for the button, he could either have a pair or AT/AJ/AQ and I think the times he has the latter make it a call. Also, even if you are just a coinflip, you are getting 2:1 odds on the call, unless you can put UTG on exactly KK or AA you have to bite the bullet. Button doesn't have them so you can discount that.

2nd hand I also raise more preflop to 400-450.
