What are the current time charges per half hour on bigger AC games? 20/40 and up say, at Borgata and or Taj Mahal?

You need to stop making moves and get back into the kiddie pool where the rake is much higher.

How come all of your posts about rake and charges? Shouldn't know these things if you play these games? Can't you find the answers out yourself?

Thanks for the helpful replies. I travel to Atlantic City only about twice per year. I like to get updates before making the trip. See you out there next week.

All I know is the 20-40 at the Taj and Borg go for $7 per 1/2 hr. Not sure about higher.

The borg 20 game often likes to use timepots, which I find to be annoying, but you can judge for yourself.

Thanks. That's the same for 20/40 as it was last trip out which suggests the charge schedule hasn't changed.

were you going to cancel the trip if they were charging $8 now?

Wow, I didn't realize how many unhelpful assholes were on this forum.

I was at the Borgata this weekend and time for the $5-$10 NL is $6.00 per half-hour. $2-$5 is $5.

20-40: 7 per half (Taj/Borg)
40-80: 8 per half (Borg)
50-100: 9 per half (Taj)
80-160: Not sure, but guessing 10 (Borg)

Thanks for that information. I'll be out starting this weekend and staying for about 2 weeks.

Some people apparently don't understand that we have a choice about where to travel and that charges matter.

I'll post a report about the Borgata and Taj games after the trip.

you said you just wanted an update before you made the trip. this is different from planning the trip based on charges.

Forgive my ignorance, but are time charges only for limit games? NL take a percentage rake, right?

2/5 and above NL are time charged.

At Bay 101, (San Jose), the 20/40 is: 7/half (I think)
40/80: 9/half
80/160: 11/half

At Commerce, (LA), you get free "food" and the rakes are about:
40/80: 4 bucks from the SB (I think if no flop, 1 dollar drop).
60/120: Something around 11 bucks (time pot, though)
100/200: 12 bucks (time pot).

Vegas is much cheaper, though I haven't played there in awhile.

Incorrect sir /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

The Trop raked the $2-$5 game when I sat in it last Friday.

The Borg 2/5 is time charged. Did the Trop have any 10/20 limit games?

Interesting b/c I think 75-150 stud at Taj is $10 per half (though I don't have tons of experience in this game...maybe I'm wrong). They took the time charge out of the first pot, which I liked.
