I thought it was 54 of spades...until i saw the 5 of spades on someones board. Now, i just wonder why it was published in its current form.

It was five four of spades. Shouldn't have been in other hands.

I think "Five-our of spades" was the phrase that actually came into his mind at the time and is not a typo. I think he was just as confused by it as we are. Actually the whole article has the feel of a dream sequence. Perhaps this is a passage from the upcoming 2+2 release: Sklansky, the Acid Years.

I demand a re-edit.

I think Sklansky is saying that everyone is so distracted by the fact that there are two 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif's showing, that they will not notice that the 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif is in Jason Lester's hand.

Thus, Sklansky knows that his opponents in the hand will possibly put him on 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif.

What I can't tell from the article is whether Sklansky thinks Jason Lester also won't notice, since the 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif is actually in his hand, or if he is just referring to what David Oppenheim may be putting him on.

Why not just correct the typo? It shouldn't be hard.
