I agree that 77 is a clear push here, but what about 66, 55, and lower? I think 55 is the lowest PP I would push here.

Dont know if it matters much as you will probably be up against overcards or a higher pair most of the times anyways. And 22 probably doesnt do much worse vs the calling ranges then 55.

yah

the whole idea of pushing these hands is that you're hoping they fold and your stack increases by a good chunk just by taking the blinds. the goal is *not* to get called and win. though you're often going to be "ahead" when you are called.

22 and 33 and 44 or whatever run ever so slightly worse against the people who are doing things like calling with any ace or any pair out of the blinds, since well, some aces are A2 and A3 and A4, and some pairs are 22 and 33 and 44. this is very marginal though. so yeah, push any pair.

When I asked I was especially thinking about situations where you are called by Ax and if there's a point where increasing the caller's chances of having two overcards to your PP make it not worth it to push the lower pairs. You hit the nail square on the head for me, thanks.
