I ink I've been playing long enough that Ed Miller's new book won't be that useful to me, so I don't want to buy the book. However, I keep hearing about his strategy for playing a small stack in NL ring games, and I'm curious about it. Since he put it in a book for complete beginners It can't be too complicated. Can anyone sum it up for me in a nut shell?

I second this. I won't buy the book, but if I knew the strategy "in a nutshell" it would be much easier for me to play near optimal against all the new shortstacks that pop up these days.

My strategy in ring game NL is:
REBUY!
Short stacks are for suckers!
I assumed you meant say $60 in a $200 max buy in type of situation?
If it's all you've got, it's pretty simple, wait for a hand, the blinds are low enough that you have lots of hands to choose from and no need to be in a hurry to give your precious chips away. You can still afford to call small raises and play my normal A grade poker.
If whittled to less than 10% of the max and can't rebuy, I'd get up and leave.
