I registered not knowing about this new format. Everyone at the table is confused and bitching. You can rebuy once before the 3rd break if you're at or below starting chip level. Of course, I rebought immediately as this might be the only time I'm at or below that level. Only one on the table who did so.

If you're adding on during the third break (1000 chips), doesn't that mean you're adding something like 1BB?

So you can add-on AFTER the THIRD BREAK. That's 3 hours. You can buy 1500 more chips when the blinds are, what, 400/800? So for $100 you can buy almost 2 BBs. A brilliant format.

Actually, the blinds will be 750/1500. It is actually 2/3 of a BB.

Well it happened. We're in the money before the add-on period and have no clue what the payouts are.

And as it turns out, there's no add-on. The 3rd break came, the prize pool was displayed, and the add-on option disappeared without ever having a chance (not that anyone would have given that it was $100 for 1BB). Gotta love PP.

they should of at least done a beta test run of the multi before running it...I was about to register for this tournament but it seemed sketchy with the add-on being after the third break where it would prob. be very -EV to add on for $109 for a extra 1 bb.

Ohh, I just looked, the add-on period never went down, so this tournament is basically a huge fu-ck up....

I saw an add-on button for at least a few seconds. Somehow I resisted.

The whole thing was a f*ckaround because three players busted out on the bubble just as the third break rolled around.

So we went down from 31 to 28... putting everyone left in the money... then some of the three who busted out and hadn't rebought yet had the option to rebuy... then everyone had the option to add on... then the tables got reconfigured... then the prize amounts got displayed... then I went to take a leak and don't know what else happened.

In short, I think many/most players missed the add-on button with everything else going on.

And, of course, I agree with everyone else that the add-on is retarded anyway. It has to be after the first break.
