What i just hate about online poker are the people who hit and run. The thing is that no one can do anything about it. Online sites can't enforce this rule, because poker players are entitled to leave whenever they want. Time and time again, you see this. You get sucked out on a 2 outers or some backdoor flush draw the guy hits. Then he sits out. And then you realize he's gone!! You get so pissed, (not about the bad beat so much), but about not getting the opportunity to milk him.
However, in a b & m game, people will just keep playing and reloading. They made the trip to the casino and wanna have some fun. You don't normally see any hit and runs, or people who go, "oh i'm up now! gonna leave since i'm up.."

This is a bitch post (I know), but I've experienced this a lot in the microlimit games. Maybe it's not really hit and run, perhaps these guys had to go take a dump or walk their dog I don't know. But it seems to occur frequently.

If you play long enough, you'll see them again and again. Maybe they only like to play 15-30 minutes each session. Just use PT to keep track of them and you won't miss a beat.

Your post is wholly confusing to me.

Sounds like the GSIH NL approach.

Is there a minimum amount of time that people should stay at a table before taking your money?

If they didnt hit their 2 outer and sat out and left would you be bitching?

Buddy list them and follow them around if it means so much to you.

The real hit and runs are when someone challenges you to a HU match and they sit out and berate you as soon as they get in the positive. That is worth bitching about.

You know what really sucks is that when I'm depositing your money into my account my online bank doesn't give my kids lollipops like the real banks do.

Seriously though, if I had to play by casino social conventions I would still not be playing poker. Not only are there no casinos near me, but even if there were, I'd have neither the bankroll nor the time to learn to play. I often play 20-40 minute sessions a few times a week. If I've been there for 30 minutes and have donated 10BB to the table is it really a big deal if I leave soon(read: the end of an orbit) after winning a 12BB pot?

Trust me, you want me there. I'm dead money that you don't see as often in the casino.

lol is there something wrong with stalking? (in online poker at least... in life I'd say there is)

Hard as it is to believe, there's more dead money at a casino low-limit game than in any Party .5/1.

I didn't believe it until I sat down for the first time at my local $5/10 (smallest they spread)
normally 7 to the flop, 3-4 showdown
live is a VERY different game to Party
