You're playing 6 handed 300/600 and a good player raises utg, a SUPER DONK 3 bets and you fold 99 in the sb, only to have the board come JJ395...and watch the super donk roll JJ.

James was sweating me and said it was an EZ cap. Thank god I play bad. I woulda lost like 8k before believing that guy had quads.

due to the nature of the random number generator, the board would have come J9395 had you capped.

There's super donks at 300/600!? Or, would the typical 3/6 2p2'er be the super donk at that level?

I know I'm folding if it's 3 bets to me with 99, even 6 handed. At best, it seems like I'd be facing enough hands than nearly any overcard would hit someone.

Yesterday my girlfriend came over to sit next to me for a while and this hand took place. I was like, baby watch me drag this huge f'ing pot and then we're goin' Sizzler. I did not drag the pot...you can guess what I lost to. Villain is a complete donk, but most likely not the same one BK was playing. CO had jacks is one of the all time greatest players ever. Probably took a break from the 40/80 game to slum it us on .5/1.

I seriously hope you're being sarcastic about the CO because he misplayed it badly on every single street. Not even close.

On 5/10 6-max...against 'solid' and 'super-donk' then I'm probably CC'ing with my 99 here.
But super-donk has to have a really high PFR for me to do this.

If he is a super-donk of the 70/10 type then I'm guessing he doesn't 3-bet with crap though amd I'm folding.
There are many super-donks out there for whom a 3-bet still means they've got something solid.

So to my mind it depends on what KIND of super-donk we are talking about.
I'll defer to James' judgement though and assume that he is the kind of super-donk for whom a 3-bet doesn't mean a whole helluva lot.

Anyway...NH I guess!!

300/600 sounds completely freaking scary to me. I don't know how one gets used to a possible $8k swing on a single-hand.

5/10 has been on the edge of my swingy-tolerance much of the time. And 15/30 was more than I could handle (of course, it didn't help that I just wasn't good enough either).
