Lets say you have 3 /images/graemlins/spade.gif3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif on the button. Typical loose/passive .5/1 game. 3 limpers, you limp, and the blinds come along (6 SB)

Flop is 6 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 9 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif K /images/graemlins/club.gif

SB leads, 3 callers to you, do you peel one off getting 10:1?

No.

I don't, but already I have been called weak-tight tonight, so take that for what's worth...

No. If this board were say, 77K with two spades, I'd call with 13 to 1 ish, since if I hit on the turn I am getting paid off. This board doesn't really gaurentee it.

I always fold in these situations.

Fold. Easy fold.

Note: Four limpers to me preflop and I might raise it there.

I fold 3's preflop except BB (call), SB (1/2 bet). In this situation your hand is 12:1 to improve, with 10:1 pot odds, that's a fold.

Lets say same hand (33) in the BB. UTG raises, 3 cold callers, SB completes, you (correctly) call.

Same flop

SB checks you check, UTG bets out, everyone calls, do you peel now?

You're getting about 16 to 1 here which still isn't enough to peel. My decision here would be based on my implied odds. If I hit would I be paid off enough, (ie was I at a table with just calling stations or did they like to raise and reraise with TPGK?)

Nah limping is fine with 22 and 33. I limp with 44 and 55 in this spot too although a raise would be okay imo. When you get to 66+ a raise begins to look mighty fine.

Looks like somebody is misreading the starting hands/odds chart that got bumped recently.

The 12:1 number is for improving *BY THE RIVER*. Hero is just taking one off to see if he gets lucky on the turn.

Your hand is 12:1 (about) by the river. It's only about 22:1 to improve on the next card, and that's what you have to work with here (first, it was the OP's question, and second, if everyone just calls on the flop your pots odds will actually be less if you don't hit your hand on the turn).
