Im not a very big soccer fan, but i do respect the sport. Furthermore, I am saddened to see the best franchise in all of professional sports sell out to Mr. Glazer, who has absolutely no idea about brittish culture, let alone how to run a soccer team. Comments?

We all hate Man United.

There's just one more reason now.

i haven't watched football for about 7 years. in fact, i think it one of the most boring games out there. but i used to support man utd. when they won the treble. now they have crap players. schmicheal is gone, and so is sheringham, and beckham to name a few.

I'd just like to suggest that over 200 years later, the American Revolution has finally achieved final victory.

I doubt Glazer Family last 5 years as the owner of Man. U, the real question to be answered is will he ruin the greatest football club of all-time.

Especially with the fact that it looks Glazer took on huge personal and corporate debt to acquire the club, something he will surely look to put on the club.

If the mediocre piece of [censored](save one year) that is Tampa Bay Bucs are any indication, things do not look good for us Man. U supporters.

At least you're more in touch with the Brits than Mr. Glazer.

It's far harder to win in the NFL than it is with Man U.

Long live the Revolution!

That's just the British spelling; like when they say "This team can't play defence" or "Margaret Thatcher gives me a bonour"

This isn't even remotely true.

United isn't even the best english team of all time, let alone the best club team.

Consider:
Premiership victories: Liverpool 18, Man U 15
European Cup (Champions League) Victories: Liverpool 5, Man U 2

Actualy Man U have won the premiership more than liverpool.

Do you see why?

Duh. The "Premiership" started in 1992, and Liverpool has not won the English title since then.

Don't try to catch me on b.s. technicalities. Liverpool has won the English title more times than ManU. Period. They have won the European title more times than ManU. Period. And Liverpool isn't even the best club team ever, so ManU definitely is not.

Of course the scum are not the best team ever.

Chelsea FC is.

Dont try to deny this on BS technicalities like they have only won the title twice and never won the european cup. That would be pure BS.

Nothing pains me more than that piece of [censored] Jose talking so much trash and then actually backing it up. Wenger didn't even catch the brunt of it, so I'm surprised Sir Alex didn't go into cardiac arrest. I mean, since he's so calm and even-keeled, usually.

They're a publicly traded company. If they didn't want to worry about some damn Yankee buying them, they shouldn't have made that option available.
