View Full Version : What is the best table you have ever been at? (low content)

I am currently playing 3/6 6 max against 5 complete morons. Normally I am happy to be at a table with 2 morons, 2 OKs and 1 decent.

PT stats

73/4/1.12
54/0/.5
67/14/.65
55/9/.67
43/21/2.29

Sorry for the low content post, but I am in shock. This table literally plays worse than a play money table. When I started off at .25/.5 I never saw anything remotely like this.

Wow. What do you think the expected BB/100 could be at a table like this?

5-6bb/100. Does that sound about right?

Sounds too low.

No I don't think that's too low. I think that's about right.

Hmmmmm - how much do you reckon a really great player could make at 3/6 6 max in the long run assuming normal tables?

I've never played it, but my guess is that the theoretical max on normal conditions is a hair over 4. I'm pretty much pulling this all out of my ass, and based on related convos with other 2+2ers.

If it is possible to make 4 BB/100 under "normal" conditions I find it hard to imagine you couldnt make at least double that under these conditions. Seriously, these were complete retards. All 5 are buddy listed. The player to my immediate right autobet any street where she had an intention of calling a bet which was very cool.

When I say normal conditions, I'm assuming a fair amount of table selection to begin with. Also, I think that a collection of moreons like that are still not complete monkeys capping blind without anything, they have some semblance of a clue, even if only a semblance. Plus there's variance, which hits us all even in great games. 6.00 seems about right, but maybe higher, I dunno...

I think my guess might have been a little low but I am not sure it is that far off.

I am getting confused now as to whether one should be able to win more per hand at a six handed table or a full table. I know of course you play more hands per hour at a six max but I am talking about standardizing per hand.

The reason I am confused is the blinds are correct to call with more junk.

I will be the first to admit poker theory is not my strong point and if anyone has a link send it on over.

This was a pretty good table I was at the other night.
SB bets every flop. And most of the rest of the streets too.
BB calls a lot.

I can't compare stats because none of the best tables I've been at have been online.
