Is this something that I should be folding. I was almost positive that he had trips Jacks, but I just couldn't bring myself to fold.

In that case, why not just check/call it down instead of pushing it.

I'd say he could also have hidden queens, tens or aces (less likely of course). Whether it's right to fold this hand is beyond me, but I'm seeing a showdown unless he shows a 3rd jack.

Is he the kind of player who's capable of regularly calling down open aces with KKJJ? Will he see fifth and bet KKJJ into open aces if u check? If the answer is no to both then it should be an easy fold right? If it's yes/no as it most likely is, then you're left with loosing a big pot or winning a small one. On the other hand you don't want people to run over you every hand, so it may still be +EV to pay off a losing hand here.

I agree, although I might be wrong as well. There's a chance he's only got two pair, and I can't for the life of me lay this down.
