Try either Hydrocortizone cream or Calamine lotion.

Can you be allergic to grass? I mowed the lawn today and as usual after being in grass, I was itchy. Brutal.

A cold wet cloth might help temporarily.

Thanks, I'll try this until I can get my hands on one of chesspain's suggestions.

Crap, just remembered that the water somehow broke today. None till tomorrow morning, any other remedies?

I was gonna say an ice cube.

Only thing is, when you warm up again, the blood coming back can feel itchy, too.

Either that, or apply a pit bull.

When I was a kid and everyone was getting chickenpox, we used to apply calomine lotion. It sometimes worked for a very short while, but the effect was really minimal and short-lived.

Itchy and no water? It sucks to be you today.

I'd stay in for the rest of the day. No need to put yourself at risk.

yes! you can be allergic to practically anything.

And I recently learned that not only are some people allergic to cats and dogs, some cats and dogs are allergic to people.

Oh, and take some benedryl to see if it helps /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I actually only used an alcohol pad, but I think we probably have some peppermint around here. The new big thing up here is tea (I don't know why) and peppermint usually goes with it I guess so I could probably get a hold of some tonight.

I actually had an aloe plant earlier this year, but I got too cool for it. Seriously. A couple kids are going to jump in a pond, is that a good idea for me? Remember, I have no shower to take afterwards. I could do soap down there though right?

Afterwards, kill them all and bathe in their blood.

I am allergic to grass, it makes my eyes water and my nose run, when I use to mow the lawn I would wear one of those blue medical masks and goggles, I looked like a dork but the grass looked good.

Okay good, so it's not jsut me. In wilderness treatment there was a kid my group hated who claimed he was allergic to grass. lol, he lied constantly so we didn't believe him. Anyways, my mind got off the itchy when I went down and we splashed around before I came back up and convinced the three retards that stayed here that everyone was drowned by a giant sea snake. Fun stuff.
