One of the first few hands of the 50-100 blind level. Drop the hand and move on? Or is a stop-and-go a viable option? Payouts are top 5 - 2000,1000,500,300,200.

i drop for sure... no need mixing with chip leader when even a double up doesn't get you very much closer to the $$...

Could I get a more concrete answer on why a stop and go is a worse play than folding? He makes a rather large raise, which I think could be a large variety of hands. Obviously pushing all in is terrible since I have no folding equity, but I probably pick up the pot almost 2/3 the time when I push on any flop.

Thanks.

You have a whole other rotation (or maybe even two) to pick a spot. Why pick a weak PP that COULD be dominated?

Then again I don't play Step 5s, I'm just a lowly 22er.

I say an easy fold.

You could try a stop n go, but that's assuming he doesn't already have a pocket pair, and if the flop hits him in anyway he'll be getting decent odds to call... If does fold, great, but what about the, I'd say up to, 50% that he does hit? Your gone. You still have enough chips that I think it's right to wait for a better hand.

Maybe I lack the knowledge and play experience to make decisions at that level.... I don't know...
