Got heads-up in an Empire MTT. Other guy and I are even in chips. I suggest a chop. He agrees instantly. We both push. He wins. Chop amount requires him to move about $300 to my account. Am I foolish?

No, at least in UB they document all chat and enforce the deal agreed upon.
