A hand from the book about Beal's gambling vs. the Corporation. On pg. 107 if anyone cares. For what its worth, this is the third time Beal had gone to LV. He got lucky the first time and finished with a small win in various games (mostly full ring). The second time, he only played heads up and the pros aggression killed him. This was from a heads up session in the third trip.

T. Brunson is in the SB with 64o
A. Beal is in the BB with T5o

Bruson limps, Beal raises, Bruson calls.

Flop comes 3 T 2 rainbow

Beal bets, Bruson raises, Beal calls

Turn is 5

They put in over 20 raises until all of Brunson's money is in the pot

If anyone cares, there was a river...it was a card...it did have a suit. It was a 5

How many raises would you put in with top 2 against a player that is known to be ultra aggressive during a heads up match?

this belongs in the gossip forum and brunson's a fool for being caught with only about 20 bbs in front of him.

"The Professor, the Banker, and the Suicide King"

Seriously though, I was asking how many raises Beal should've put in. Also, how do you think Brunson could've played the river if he was not all in on the turn?

For what its worth, this is was the only hand that was described this thoroughly in the book up to the point I have read (page 186). The author also adamently stands by the fact that anything he has reported is true. This is why it struck me so odd that he would have the exact action of the hand.

(Supposedly, Todd had erupted and called everyone over to look at the hand)

Not more than 20. I must not understand high stakes poker.
