$10+1
Blinds are 40/80

UTG (T2200)
UTG+1 (T3500)
MP (T3200)
Button (T900)
SB (T1800)
Hero (T1900)

Hero is dealt AdQd

Pre-flop:
UTG calls 80, UTG+1 calls 80, MP folds, Button folds, SB completes, Hero raises to 320, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, SB calls

Should I be raising more to isolate better or just check with the blinds like they are? Should I push to pick up the blinds? I felt like my stack was to large to warrant pushing.

How long have you been playing for? Enough time to determine whether or not these players are limping with weak hands?

If they've shown down pretty mediocre cards after limping, I like raising. I'd add 1BB per limper, so maybe a raise to about 450. This SHOULD be enough to get them to fold. If not, you'll have to determine whether or not you can take it down on the flop with a continuation bet. I agree, your stack is too large to push, and checking seems a little weak. I think raising a bit more is your only choice.

Me, id just take the free flop and proceed only if i got a nice piece of it. Im not too enamored with playing AQo out of position. Alternatively, if i was feeling frisky and wanted to bet, id just straight up push. You prolly have the best hand, and wont have to deal with mid PPs if you make such a huge overbet.

Pushing is weird, but it's all kinds of +EV. I think a standard raise in that spot would be to about t400, but that's still no guarantee that you won't get a bunch of callers. With a couple of limpers and a healthy stack, I'd rather check and see a flop with that hand.

My ranking: Check > Raise > Push
