That's fine. Bet-folding is also an option. With only three players, there's a moderate chance of taking it down. But I'm not going to invest more than that bet unless I hit a queen on the turn... Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif makes my head explode, and I just call down.

I've won 48 of 76 times with QQ and averaged winning 1.86 BB. I play this exactly the way you did.

I bet this in hopes of taking it down. I check-fold the turn UI

Absolutely not. If raised you MUST fold this. What do you beat here? I bet once in hopes of taking it down. If the guy who acts after you folds, then I check the turn through and hope to see a free showdown. Seeing a non-heart Q on the turn would be great as well.

You bet the flop and get one caller. The turn is a blank and gets checked thru and the river is another blank. Do you bet river? What if you check and he bets. Do you now call?

Do you think you'll win 1 in 5 times there? I don't.

I bet the flop and then I am done with the hand.

I'm just varifying: you were quick to fold this because of the three hearts, not just because of the AK, beacuse I'm always bet/folding this in this situation with a non 3 suited board given the preflop action and my immediate odds of taking down the pot. (that situation being AKx flop with multiple suits)

Did you mean to reply to me? Or is this directed at someone else.

In my newbie opinion this has to be thrown down. Not only are there hearts out there but the AK makes puts a lot of hands ahead of you. I don't think this hand is worth putting any more money into.
