just double checking because you start thinking, well maybe i have hte best hand, maybe i can hit. and then you see the showdown were AK unimproved beats AT and think, did ed miller tell me not to fold the flop for 1 small bet...

clark says you call here even if there were only the raisers in the pot. the limper (who i expect to call both bets) only make it easier.

if you are ahead, its not by much. Add that to when u are way behind = -ev.

yeah he does. it's not just clark who says that.

you're implied odds subsidize the BB you have to call to try to catch your set.

I think you should consider capping preflop.

I think he said do not fold on the RIVER for 1 bet in a large pot...

You're reading too much into this. I don't think your question is dumb, either.

well then could you expound on why you think capping with 66 is a good play there?

I think capping is almost always a good play when you're looking at calling a threebet and you haven't yet put in a raise. If you push UTG out that's fine. It gives you more ways to win the pot.

what did the SB have? AK clubs?

SB 3bet preflop and got callers - he'll be autobetting this flop with almost anything, but that doesn't change the fact that we are very likely behind to this field, with this pf action...plus, if we are ahead our implied odds are baaad.
