there hasn't been a band do more cookie-cutter crap in our generation except for maybe vertical horizon or creed. these are easily the three worst bands of the last ten years that have had major success. i HATE them...ahhhhhhHHH!

Oddly enough my GF and I were discussing something very similar to this yesterday while we were listening to "When I'm Gone" in the car.

3 Doors Down has the exact opposite problem as the Goo Goo Dolls. Every song you hear from 3DD on the radio is harder, fast paced, and sounds ok. When you listen to one of their albums, though, all the other songs are filled with vagina rock.

Personally, I don't think they're very good all in all, but I do think When I'm Gone is one hell of a song.

They do share one thing in common, not only with each other, but with Green Day as well, and that is that all their songs sound like the same shitass crap that they just put out on the last single.
