From HEPFAP p.18 first two cards in early position:
"Hold'em is a positional game, perhaps more so than any other form of poker."

I think this is only true is you consider omaha a form of hold'em. You just can't afford to check a good hand in omaha because of the incredible number of draws out against you all the time. Thoughts?

Disagree. In Omaha, once the flop comes, it's very easy to determine your chances of making your hand. It becomes a mathematical exercise regardless of your position (especially at the lower limits).

In HoldEm it's very possible to win with an inferior hand solely due to your position. It's very unlikely in Omaha.
