As for Danica, yeah she can win. She has had the fastest car all month, and her team won there last year, so she clearly has the material. However, this is an awfully strong field, and experience goes a long way at Indy. My personal pick is Sam Hornish, but I wouldn't be too surprised if the chick pulls it off.

I believe that NASCAR takes the driver's weight into account and has its rules set up for the total weight of the car plus driver, just like horse racing. I think they have a valid point. 100 pounds is significant.
