make a real raise preflop ... you raised &lt;3xBB. you need to raise big here as you will be OOP for the entire hand.

your weak preflop raise doesnt allow you to determine whether BB has a hand like A5s, 88, etc. or AA, KK, AK. he could make a similar raise with any of those hands.

i would have raised to $1.5 preflop ... had i gotten re-raised after that i would have possibly 3-bet and folded to a push
