I'm currently pimping a King Cobra 460 SZ .830 with a Stiff Flex Adilla Shaft.

When purchasing it, I was deciding between the cobra or the Taylor Made R7. The store didn't have any R7s in stock lefty so I opted for the big old cobra. First time I hit it on the course, it felt like the ball shot out of a cannon.

I currently use a extra long shaft length Fortune 'Hammer of Thor' golf ball destroyer.

It is tremendous.

You ass.

I actually googled it to see if it was some Gimmick knockoff club.

7.5 degree. That's bawlsy. I play a 9 degree because of my swingspeed. You must swing out of your shoes.. Or you bought a used club and didn't know the difference /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have a high swing speed.

I hit the ball about 280 off the tee.

If I were any bigger (I'm like 5'9 150) I would be putting the ball out in the 330's at least.

I'm a 8.2 USGA Handicap.

I bagged my 60* 588 in favor of the Vokey Raw 60* and 52* gap.

Have a Tommy Armour 845 stripe sand wedge that matches the rest of my irons.

I don't like how the cleveland wedges have excess bounce on the irons other than the sand wedge. It makes hitting crisp pitches from the fairway more difficult.

well im a 2.7 so i win. but seriously, you can't say that the most popular wedge in the world sucks. i do agree though the 60* has a lot of bounce, but i prefer it that way. didn't mean to get in a pissing contest. but whatever.

I have no distance control with that fucker because of the bounce from the fairway. From the rough, it's a decent club. I like a wedge that has a sharper leading edge.

Still using a Taylor Made R580 from a couple years ago. It's been great but I can't hit it for [censored] lately so it's been spending a lot of time staying in the bag, headcover on.

I recently got the Taylor Made R5, and it is the NUTS.

The R7 is a slightly smaller head, with changeable weights with which you can, uh, taylor-make your swing, I suppose.

I, however, know myself well enough to know that I wouldn't be all changing the weights and stuff, so what the hell. Plus, the bigger hitting area on the R5 makes it a little easier to hit, confidence-wise. PLUS, the R5 comes in a "Type D," which is designed to repair unwanted fade (otherwise known as "slice"), which actually works a bit.

I mean, I am actually hitting some balls that draw a little, which is hard to believe if you're me. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Blackjack,

I nicknamed that club the 'Hammer of Thor' because it is a mammoth driver, and when I hook up I can reach the greens on a decent amount of par 4s. It does present certain accuracy problems though.

The club itself is nothing more than a standard driver out of a set of clubs, my grandfather had them custom built for me with extra long shafts because I am rather tall.

Sorry to get your hopes up.

I love this club. When I switched to this driver from a Cleveland I immediately started hitting the ball 25 yards longer. From 225 to 250 plus.

I want a KZG Gemini, with a Diamana 63 s, but I'll probably end up with a Gemini w/ an aldila NV65.

You can get the old pro combos for dirt cheap, and they're solidly reviewed.

I kind of want a progressive set as well. I think I may build a set of Snake eyes 600xc/600c/600b. I have an extra shaft set sitting around.

If I'm feeling wealthy, however, there are some much nicer options. A Titty 690 combo set, or tourstage MR-23 combo set would be incredibly badass.

Or, if I want to forsake beautiful blades forever (I play KZG forged blades right now), there are always the lucious RAC TP's.
