I've got an idea. If they are going to make you feel like a panhandler when you ask for a comp, why don't you become a panhandler. Stop tipping, and become the miser that they treat you like. Maybe when the tips stop coming, they will realize that they have to pay their dealers a decent wage, and we poker players won't have to support our own bankroll while paying someone's wages. If they want to play that game, we can play it back. After reading about the way bellagio treats some of you, I'm going to fight back with the only thing that counts. My wallet. If they have become stingy with the way they treat their poker players, let us become stingy too. Why is it ok for them, but not for us? Besides, where I come from, tips are not an entitlement. They are a reward for good service. The US is a joke with all this tipping bs. You don't see tipping in other countries. Of course the service often sucks there. joedot-- if you don't like to tip then you should go live in one of those other countries that you think are so damn great.If people didn't tip who would serve food,beer,deal your games etc.... Do you really think the it's the dealers fault that the Bellagio don't want to give you crying flea bags a comp.Do you really think anybody in the poker room has a say in the comps that they can give.The Bellagio is a 1.6 billion dollar hotel, do you think that they give a flying f**k about the poker room.One bank of slots makes more than the poker room does all year.What you idiots don't understand is it takes a lot of money to run a poker room and the Bellagio probaly shows only a small profit from it.Why do you think there are hardly any poker rooms left anywhere on the strip.20 years ago almost every casino in town had one.I doubt the Bellagio is going to lose sleep over joedot not playing there.If you are to cheap to tip and buy your own food then you probaly could not afford to stay there any way.If you people want a comp go to a place like the orleans or sunset station where they give you a $1.50 for every hour you play.If not then Your only other choice to play any poker in vegas over 6-12 will have to be played at the Bellagio.I love a guy who can lose a 1000 bucks playing poker but can't buy himself a fatburger.The people who are complaining about the comp system are the people who are losers in the game of poker.
