no secret the sox wanted carl in the offseason, but his parents wanted him to be surrounded by junkies and mentally unstable prima donnas so he went to NY. the sox 'settled' for clement.

should be a good game. i love baseball.

I didn't catch that one, no. probably just frustration.

arod is going to go yard today, if he is not walked or hit every single time. he has been ON FIRE. he is doing so well, he is putting up MVP lock numbers, all he needs is one big HR against the sox and everyone in ny will love him to death. he is one hit away from locking up his status.

just to keep yesterdays comment alive ill bump it here:

As reported by The Globe regarding Manny's terrible stats this season:
1)he will be to tired giving out massages to his mother due to her arthritis...
2)he is blaming his hitting on his mothers medical disability but was only able to say it was a medical condition with a long word, so im thinking something serious and he starts to explain her issue and the reporter goes, you mean arthritis? in which our scrubby left fielder says, yeah thats it!!!!

muhahahha

Yeah this game is lost. But it's not because Boston has a great offense. The Yankees just had bad pitching today.

We will get the series tomorrow with our ace Mussina against your uber fatty who gave up 8 ER in 1.1 innings t the worst offense in baseball(Oakland)

The game today sucked, but I'm not too pissed. We'll still be a half game ahead of Boston tonight and we can make it 1.5 games again tomorrow. And you know that we're gonna sweep KC in the away series. So after tomorrow we should be 28-22, and we should be 31-22 or at the worse 30-23 by Thursday. We're in great shape.

To a baseball fan that lives 3000 miles away, it would be. Bernie is one of the greats. He's a career .301 hitter who's come up big in the postseason so many times. In the late 90s, he was the best center fielder in baseball, and won 4 Gold Gloves.

If you think that the Red Sox are going to win tomorrow, then you don't have a clue. Look at Boomer's ERA. He gave up 8 ER in 1.1 innings to the WORST OFFENSE IN BASEBALL!

I bet the line on this game will be like -220 for the Yankees, at least.

You are such a fool, Joe Tall.

Mussina IS dominating. He's 5-2 with a 3.38 era. His ERA is like a point and a half below the league average. David Wells has a 6.81 ERA, almost DOUBLE that of Moose's. AND YOUR BULLPEN SUCKS!

Get a clue.
