Pergesu hates this push, but I figured I'd get some other opinions on it. Biggie has been reasonably tight. Anyone?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (5 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

BB (t470)
UTG (t2900)
Hero (t1165)
Button (t408)
SB (t3057)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gif.

I didn't say I hated it. Well, at the time you did it, yeah.

But if either of these guys doubles up, you have basically the same stack. So I guess you can push here because it either busts you or gets you some more chips, and in the latter case, makes your bubble play significantly easier.

I first glance, I hated it as well, but I think having two mini stacks work in your favor. Button likely will fold, hoping that BB will bust and knowing that BB needs to call with just about anything. If BB does call with any two (which he probably will), you're favored to win, and you can certainly use the chips at this point.

I don't like to push, but I think it's a decent play.
