Wow! This is my first visit to 2+2 and my first post. So cool. I love this converter thing.

Umm ... so I'm relatively new, and analyzing my plays to learn a bit more. I looked at this hand again and think maybe I shouldn't have folded. The BB could have had anything. The problem is with my small underpair is that every card is a scare card, and I know the BB is kinda passive after the flop. Additional info: he likes to see more than half the flops.

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 4/images/graemlins/club.gif, 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, MP2 calls, 2 folds, Button calls, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (5 SB) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif (5 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, UTG+1 folds, MP2 folds, Button folds, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 3 BB

Good fold...

Almost every card on turn and river are scare cards from there. Only thing to chase is the 4. Standard fold every time.

I vote easy fold as well, for pretty much the same reasons.

If BB really is passive post-flop, it's a good play. Otherwise I might raise this flop.

really no point in playing this hand. trying to protect .5sb by betting at least a full sb is foolish.

are you asking this question because a 4 comes on the turn? don't. you played it fine.
