[indie rock]Band of Horses: There's still room on the bandwagon

For those of you interested in that hip Iron & Wine/Sufjan Stevens country/indie/folk sound, check out Band of Horses. They have four MP3s available here (http://www.bandofhorses.com/music.htm) and are currently on tour with Iron & Wine (also worth checking out.)

I think they're supposed to have an album coming out on SubPop later this year.

1. is it Band of Horses or just Horses? the webpage seemed a bit confused itself. (or maybe i'm just not paying attention)

2. anyone who's actually buying the new sufjan album (and considering the label is pretty much owned by him and his dad, you probably should), they've started shipping. mine came in the mail today. it's pretty damn cool.

I believe the band is supposed to be called "The Horses" but they've had some legal issues so they're going by "Band of Horses" until they are resolved.
