opponent here is pretty solid. he's probably something like 30/18/2.5. he's kind of lag but a thinking player and probably a long term winner in this game.

don't have the HH for this one.

he raises in the SB, i call in the BB with T/images/graemlins/spade.gif6 /images/graemlins/heart.gif.

flop is T /images/graemlins/diamond.gif7 /images/graemlins/spade.gif5 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

he bets and i raise, he calls.

turn is A /images/graemlins/spade.gif

he bets and i raise.

river is an offsuit 7.

he bets, i call?

The first one looks normal.

I would be the river on the second one. He has a pair with a 9 (98,97, A9)...or a T. Either way, he's paying off with worse hands plenty of the time.

I'm a silly noob, but I bet the river on hand 2 as well.

Hand 2 is an easy value bet on the river.

Hand 1 is tough. Not sure I like the turn raise. What do you do if you are 3-bet? You can't fold with a 4-flush headsup and now you have spewed bets with a mediocre hand. What is your raise trying to accomplish? Getting him to fold a 7, 5 or lower PP? That's no good to you. Call his turn bet and call any river, unless you spike a T or non-spade 6. Bet the river if he checks.
