I only ask this because I will call down any bet as long as I have chips to spare and I am pretty sure (90%+) I am correct that I am holding the best hand.

Here's an example: Villian is a lag.

Flop (board: 5h Kd Ks):

doc who bets 40. Glory Seeker raises to 200. doc who re-raises to 360. Glory Seeker calls.

doc who goes all-in for 1030. Glory Seeker calls.

I'm pretty sure if any "expert" player was coaching my play would say, raise the flop and raise the turn, however, I didn't believe he had a K and wanting him to bluff off more of his chips. I raised the turn so I could stop him from chasing gutshots, flushes, and overcards.

When he min-re-raised me, I figured I would call this and call any bet on the river as long as it didn't come Q/J/A (although I might have called if river came Q or J). And yes, it's quite possible that villian could have a 5.

How many times will I get burned on this call?

How is my play?

Why is it so out of the question for villain to have a King? If you picked off a river bluff, God bless you, but I'm not making that call. I'm not raising the turn. If he continues to bet t40, I call down and keep the pot small. Even if villain was initially betting with a 5, he now has a boat and you're beat.
