This may not be to interesting but it was the 3rd time in about 5 hands I lost after starting with aces. I actually was really close to folding 3rd here and if I did fold in situations like this everytime how much am I giving up? The other A is dead so I know he can't have aces and a K completed and I raised so I doubt he is 3 betting Kings or queens right?

Unless he’s a maniac, you can’t be giving up allot by folding on 3rd. Then again, there are people out there who do this with a 3-flush. /images/graemlins/wink.gif He would have to be completely crazy to do this heads-up and with two other spades out though. So folding on 3rd is probably best; it can’t way wrong, at least.

what about calling 3rd and folding 4th or 5th just for metagame reasons? You dont wanna be known as the guy who can lay down aces on 3rd ya know?

I call this on 3rd, but let it go on 4th I think.

When he reraises after you checkraise, I'm going to give him credit for trips unless he's done this move repeatedly in the past.

If you fold third most players will assume you had some bad semi-bluff hand, not aces.

I don't fold in situations like this, could be a leak but if you do fold it seems ripe for exploitation.
