It takes as long as people are around. If one person bails for 24 hours, it can take a while.

Missionrisk is pretty good to play, but the computer AI is pretty lame. I'll play that too if anyone wants.

"lux" is the same as risk, and you can always find a game going on online. I used to be ranked pretty highly at it, but had to force myself to delete it from my computer.

that is about as fast as I have ever seen a result; that is also the the only time I have played where you start with the armies spread across that board.

I changed a lot of the options to speed up gameplay, including auto-assigning territories, and giving everyone extra armies to start. It seems to work well. I did notice one bug in this game. If I attack with 1 territory, they can actually defend with 2. Pretty cheap.

I played risk twice on board games and several times on computer. I preferred the advanced version; axis and allies. I don't play any anymore due to time constraints and no one I know is willing to play.
