Hi guys, quick question regarding win rates. I have been playing 5/10 NL 6 max since I got pokertracker about 4 months ago and I have logged 20,000 hands. My win rate at this point is 5BB/100 hands. Is this a good win rate? Also, is 20,000 hands enough for me to draw some long term conclusions about my win rate, or do I need more hands to truly say that I am a 5BB/100 hands player at this level. Thanks in advance guys. By the way, my screen name on Party is Black_Nines5 so if you see me holla at me!

5bb/100 is good. Better is achievable, but that's good.

20k isn't enough to say you're exactly a 5bb winner, but unless you feel you've been running very bad or very good, it's likely you'll be a winner of around that mark.

Ive kinda wanted to ask this question for a while...Im 6BB/100 at 400NL over 50,000 and the same at 600 NL over about 15000, and I was emabrrassed by this as I was about 11BB/100 at 200 NL and had considered dropping down as there didnt seem much point in staying at 400. I thought 5 or 6 BB/100 was pretty poor if you only play 4 tables.

When you guys say 5BB...do you mean 5 actual BBs or 5PTBBs?

In other words, does your PT database say 5BBs? Alot of people dont know theres a difference so I never know which they mean.

I guess if they didnt know there was a difference, they would have to mean 5PTBBs though right? Unless they were keeping track of their results by hand.
