We all know that you have to be 'fresh' to play great poker and sometimes that happens when we use an energy drink.

Which ones do do you like and hate the most?

I usually go with Red Bull but have also found that many casinos don't have it. I usually keep a couple tubes of this around: http://www.energy-fizz.com Just dump it in a bottle of water and it provides a pretty good kick. The tubes are about 4 inches tall and 3/4 inch in diameter (about the size of a roll of dimes) so they can be carried around easily. Also good for easing the effects of a hangover. It is a fairly new product and can only be ordered online for now but from what I hear from the manufacturers it should be in stores sometime in the next few months.

i use to be a firm believer in red bull. but then i tried AMP, and damn that sh1t is g00t

Seems to me like all of those choices are terrible, as you ideally want little physical energy and tons of mental energy at a poker table. Why would you want to be sitting in your seat figdeting like you have Parkinson's??? Therefore caffienated coffee+tea and/or coke would be high on my list as far as gaining a mental edge in stamina and awareness.

Anyone ever have Go Ape! Engergy? I've only seen it at the gas station by my apt, but it's delicious.

Sugar Free Red Bull....and I like to pop some Tyrosine and ALCAR (Acetyl-L-Carnitine) capsules along with it. My favorite pre-poker ritual.

The worst energy drink I ever had was "pimp juice".

For a little fun try googling "Gay Fuel". No there's an energy drink.
