HEAR YEA HEAR YEA, IN THE HERETOFORE NOTED 'TRIAL OF CLASSIFICATION', I SUBMIT TO YOU, THE READERS OF OOT, EVIDENCE THAT SHALL PROVE WITHOUT QUESTION THAT JOSHUAD, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS 'DEFENDANT', IS TO BE CLASSIFIED FROM NOW ON AS 'NERD'. EVIDENCE FORTHCOMING:

1. JoshuaD has been known to play DDR, otherwise known as Dance Dance Revolution. Pictures shall be included of such an act, but DDR is a well-known pasttime for the morally destitute and the japanese-obsessed. This game includes such nerdy things as 'looking at a screen' and 'jumping on the appropriate square to shitty techno'.

http://joshman.ath.cx:81/ddr4.jpg

Defendant is the nerd on the left.

2. Defendant plays Dungeons and Dragons by email. Dungeons and Dragons, if the jury perhaps does not know, is a pasttime of the morally corrupt and socially destitute, a fantasy world where sweaty mantits and culturally inept fools inhabit their own D&D characters, while a sicko-sexual perversion of dominance allows the 'dungeon-master' to subject the 'characters' to most any act humanly and inhumanly possible.

3. Defendant plays Magic: The Gathering at the age of 32, and until very recently lived with his mother. The nerdiness of Magic: The Gathering should be self-evident to all, it's a card-based Dungeons and Dragons derivative usually designated for goth-type social rejects in high school. The defendant has played such games for years now, employing any tactics, including inept sexual favors, in attempts to further his 'deck', whatever that means.

JURY, PLEASE PRESS THE APPROPRIATE BUTTON TO SIGNIFY YOUR CHOICE.

ROFL.

DDR is a [censored] awesome game, how dare you insult it? Seriously, it's addictive, it's fun and it's amazing cardiovascular exercise. What's not to like?

Growing up playing on a semi-pro Magic team was a huge part of my teenage years and I'll never forget it. We had some amazing times. The camaraderie was g00t. The game itself is okay as far as games go (excellent as far as CCGs go), I just played it because I had a lot of friends who played, I was really good at it and I'm very competitive by nature.

Dungeons and Dragons I don't have much to say about, except that the Black Isle/Bioware AD&D games are, for the most part, awesome.

EDIT: What's up with playing on the soft DDR pads, bro? You need to get a Cobalt Flux.

I didn't say this forum wasn't filled with retards, but this forum is easily more suited to a nerd test. After all, most of the people who inhabit these denizens are themselves socially inept retards who spend all their time thinking of how grand a forum this is. I've learned two very important things about women in my life:

I play MTG almost every day, I find it is good tilt relief. While tilting I feel like still engaging in some kind of mental competition but I know its detrimental for it to be poker, in magic you are much more active rather than folding for hours and Im really good so I get to experience winning.

I try to hide it from everyone though and if caught I claim its a varation of poker.

Also Magic isnt a derivitave of Dundgeons and dragons. They have very little in common. Dundgeons is a role-playing game, magic is a card game with no role-playing involved.

After reading the replies, as well as your own comments, I think I had to settle on nerd, based on the limited amount I know about you. Your only defense against being a nerd is that you have a hot girlfriend and are being laid regularly. However, you gave no evidence to support this such as pictures of her and yourself, so we can in no way determine if you actually have a girlfriend, much less her level of hotness. In addition, comments such as
