is hilarious.

What I don't understand is why nobody has killed him yet, surely someone must want to who lives nearby.

I'm assuming that he's connected with biblegateway then.

That's a shame, I actually use their bible search for my papers all the time.

He leaves that as one of the links. If they get enough "blessings", maybe they'll find a way to cut him out.

Always at least one idiot in every group.

Posted a similar question in OOT. Is this guy breaking any laws? His lunacy is all over the place - even my over-30 baseball league's forums have been hit by him.

All but one of his links has a POC (or 3). Not that I'd contact each place or anything.

I think the best revenge is to go to churches and disrupt their services until they make this guy stop.

that's not even funny. They aren't bothering us, flooding his links OTOH, might not be a bad thing.

What I want is this moron's home page/site.

They aren't bothering us

Are you reading the same stuff that I am?

This is the work of the religious for sure and I for one have had enough of it.

lori I'm surprised you're managing to post this much today. Shouldn't you be out buying canned foods and other provisions in the final few hours before the start of BB6?

lorinda
05-27-2005, 01:23 PM
Well someone must know him, and it's more likely to be someone religious than not.

If they know we don't like it, maybe they can excommunicate him or sacrifice him or something.

It just occured to me that the person doing this may not be Ronald Grossi or even a Christian. Maybe somebody with a vendetta? Good way of ruining someone's life.

You should see how many BB posts I have already this year and I only started a few hours ago /images/graemlins/blush.gif

Very excited about the 'unlucky 13th housemate' not sure if it's going to be long term persecution (I hope so the mood I'm in today) or an insta-eviction.

Looks like 2 gay, 2 bi, 9 other. 11 single, 2 not. and one person in a high profile position which could mean Z-list celeb, or some civil servant or other.

It seems like even a minor bit of coding knowledge would be enough to stop this guy from posting here. A search for a key phrase in every post before posting (which sounds like a huge thing but is completely minor) would stop this guy. And if you find that the post matches the key phrase, add the ip address to the ban list automatically.

Since it is an automated program it would be easy to thwart. Even though im not a PHP guy, it would be well within my skillset to be able to modify "http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/addpost.php" if I had the source.

That's a very good point, I thought it had been verified it was him in another thread, guess I'll make sure I have it 100% before I do anything more serious.

I highly doubt biblegateway.com is affiliated with him. He uses it as a resource link because it's the best online bible resource on the web. Filling their inbox with complaints is just adding to the negative impact this guy is having.

If you look after a few seconds when he posts it, it is not the picture or the text, just a few letters.

I have no idea why/how this can be, but I've seen it several times now.

Sadly I know even less about computers than I do about religion /images/graemlins/frown.gif

It's one particular idiot.

Here is HIS site:

http://www.arkwebshost.com/dir1/webbcam/

Only took wading through TEN pages of sites he's spammed.

lorinda

Won't they be able to find him?

I'd imagine a popular religious site would be worth millions of dollars, surely they could invest a few hiring an internet version of Sammy the Squib?

Here is HIS site:

Thanks.

I tried to explain in my OOT religion apology that this kind of person (until that other thread, where i DID mean my apology) is the only kind of religious person I have ever encountered (usually at my front door) and I still drift back to believing that all religious people are like this, even though I had a great PM conversation with someone who clearly was not.

Believe it or not the few billion religous (that would include even the non-Christians) don't know each other. Even the few hundred million Christians don't know each other. Most don't know anyone outside their 4 walls/area foundation/group

Good find.

What a monkey.

It's not even laugh worthy like the Kirk Cameron site (http://www.wayofthemaster.com/) is.

It's extremists like this that make me ashamed to call myself a Christian.

It's extremists like this that make me ashamed to call myself a Christian.

I don't think being ashamed is the correct way forward.

Just remember to keep people like myself (I repeat, who has never (to my knowledge)met a non-extreme Christian) informed occasionally with some polite reminders.

I would imagine the time to be ashamed is when you do this yourself.

The issue I understand about banning his IP is that he uses AOL as his ISP and you would have to ban the AOL subnet he is coming through. Not that anyone should be using AOL in the first place, but that will never happen.

I think a bunch of emails to AOL who say "not our problem" are in order. abuse@aol.com
