Has anyone really tried these? I'm talking about the Step tournaments on Party skins (I think), or the equivalent on the Prima skins (where I play), Rounder tournaments. They seem fairly easy to get a decent amount of $$$, especially for the structure of the Prima skin ones:
Round 1:
1st: Entry to Round 2
2nd: Entry to Round 2
Round 2:
1st: Entry to Round 3
2nd: Entry to Round 3
3rd: Free replay of Round 2
Round 3:
1st: Entry to Round 4
2nd: Entry to Round 4
3rd: Entry to Round 4
4th: Entry to Round 4
5th: Free replay of Round 2
Round 4:
1st: Entry to Round 5
2nd: Entry to Round 5
3rd: Entry to Round 5
4th: Entry to Round 5
5th: Entry to Round 5
Round 5:
1st: $3000
2nd: $1200
3rd: $800
4th: $500
Each Round is a 10-person STT, with blinds in a system similar to an MTT (every 12 minutes they go up). It seems that just once you've won the first to rounds (which is pretty easy), it's just a cruise up to Round 5 (play weak-tight? I mean, top 4 qualify at round 3 and top FIVE qualify at round 4...), in which you could revert back to cruising for first.
Buy-in is only $5 for Round 1, which makes this seems like it could be a really profitable try.
