What is the longest you have ever held in taking a dump? A friend of mine didn't want to take a [censored] in front of his girlfriend so he held it in for a week (6 days, 7 nights) while on vacation. Isn't this unhealthy? The most I have ever held for is 18 hours.

i pooped my pants when i was 12. i was coming back to my moms house from my dads house, and about 5 minutes into the 15 minute ride i have to poop. right as we pulled into the driveway, it just came out. luckily, it was a hard log and just slid out of my pants, which i later sprayed away with a hose. but im pretty sure i can hold it for at least 20-30 minutes nowadays.

That's it? I can hold it for at least 5-6 hours, probably longer if I am sitting down. In high school I have held shits all day long.

that is common practice around the school, only thing is that we have one good pooping bathroom. its a bathroom in the middle of nowhere in the school, and there is no piss on the floors, poop on walls, etc. like all the other bathrooms. another plus is that there is actually toilet paper in this bathroom. its a nice kept secret.

In the army i held one for 1.5 days.

You have to crap in plastic bags and one person in the unit has to carry it along because you can't leave any evidence you were there.

Artificially, I held one for 5 days. On a canoe trip when i was 10, I was deathly afraid of bears in the forest so I just refused to go. Immodium was a hot commodity.

idk about holding it, but after living in a dorm for a yr, i got the feeling that everyone else goes more frequntly then i do. assuming normal circumstances, i go at most once a day, probly avg every other.

probably around 2 weeks. i was in a remote villiage in indonesia doing linguistic research and basically all we ate was rice w/ some vegetables and coffee. i didn't really try to hold it, i just never had to go.

Just commenting on the "unhealthy" part. It's not really that bad for you as the bowels are meant to hold that stuff. So you won't die or anything, but it could get painful.
