No real read on villian. He saw me have to laydown to another reraise a few hands earlier. Based on that I felt he could be making a move here.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

UTG+1 ($22.90)
MP1 ($23.75)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/club.gif.
UTG calls $0.25, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1.25</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, SB calls $1.15, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG calls $1.

What would you do with that flop?

There are ALOT of hands beating AK at this point. In addition to KJ, a flopped flush, and a set, the villain could also have an ace with a high diamond kicker. I cannot really think of any legit hand that AK is doing very well against here. You raised on the flop to found out where you were, and the villain told you. FOLD THIS.

It's a good fold and I think you played the hand fine. You may have wanted to raise on the flop slightly more, but other then that (and my preference to raise more pre-flop with AK from MP), the hand is fine.

I've been going by the 4xBB +1 for each limper rule. How much would you suggest raising to pf and why? On the flop my raise had two purposes, one was to keep him in the hand if I was ahead and two to let me know if I was behind. I felt a larger raise would've caused him to muck a worse hand and in the event I'm behind I would just lose more when he reraised. Also much larger and I'm almost pot-commited.

FOLD! Good flop raise btw, defined your hand perfectly, now muck it.

Pre-flop raise is good. You don't want to completely give away what you have so I like the 4x +1 bet.
With him going over top of you that big, that smells of made flush (and he blew his load too soon) or a set (trying to buy you off) or top pair with a Ad kicker.

Your fold was good. Forget about this one and move on.
