This is a $65+15 satellite into the $500+50, 180 person tourney at the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa. 1st seats, 2nd gets their $80 back and 3-10 are already in the next game /images/graemlins/wink.gif These run all day from 9am-5pm. T1500, starting at 25/50, 10 hand rounds.
We're down to 3 players, blinds at 400/800. Short-stack folded, he's T300 and will be blinded out next hand. SB announces all-in, he's the big stack with ~T11,000. He's not been out of hand, and I haven't let him run over my blinds...matter of fact, we've defacto tag-teamed the short-stack.
I look down to find AhQh and am sitting with ~T3000.
I know I should simply fold here, let the short-stack get taken out on the next hand and then concentrate on making a comeback heads-up.
However...the player in me is SCREAMING that I'm short stacked as well and I'll have to make a play at him at some point, we're 3 handed and I most likely have his hand dominated considering the range he could be making this move with.
So weak-tight and fold, waiting one hand for the short-stack to bust or gamble it up with the "best hand" and hope to double up to a fighting chance?
Thanks.
