If Lott stays in the senate, he will forever be remembered as a man that favors American apartheid, lynchings, and discrimination. If he stays as majority leader, Bush might as well just reiterate to Black voters that they were intentionally disenfranced in 2000, and they better get used to it.

If the Republican party stands for racial justice in America, and justice overseas, then Bush must call for Lott to not just renounce the leadership, but his Senate seat.
Anything less reaffirms that hypochrisy, discrimination, murder, and disenfranchisement are the core values of the Republican party.

for him not to renounce lott just shows the repub. true colors. to bad it will be forgotten shortly.

/forums/images/icons/crazy.gif blacks vote 90% demo anyway...republicans may as well appeal to white racism....more of them than aa's....but seriously...the demo's essentially take aa vote for granted....dems will run gore again..with same results....the senator from miss. was just politicking...fergot he was not at a good ole boy gathering instead of national tv....that's lott's crime....no way he should step down....the naacp, jesse and crew can go to hell...jmho...gl /forums/images/icons/frown.gif
