I made this call with 2-8 off, figuring pot odds were 2:1 and barring an overpair it was a sound call (and not especially wanting to fold and leave myself with 800 chips when all others had over 2,000).

Given the size of the raise, though, I am starting to suspect it was a bad call on my part.

Given the size of the raise, I suspect that the pot odds weren't 2:1. I'd fold.
